Shelby Janeway

Shelby graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2023 with her bachelor's degree in Allied Health Sciences and completed her PA program at the University of Michigan–Flint in May of 2026. There she served as co-chair of the program's Health and Wellness initiative, providing her classmates with weekly goals and resources to better promote their health. Shelby has known since high school that becoming a Physician Assistant was her goal and the best way to help her future patients. During her clinical rotations, she had many great mentors who stressed the importance of looking at the patient as a whole rather than one condition. This drove her to become very passionate about overall health and wellbeing, and she found that Total Health Systems was the perfect place to foster that passion and help it grow. In her free time, Shelby enjoys listening to audiobooks, spending time with friends and family, and gardening.
