Deep Tissue: Long flowing strokes, deep kneading, surface friction, light tapping, and joint movement.
Sports Massage: Gentle kneading and stretching lengthens contracted muscles and fascia.
Myofacial release: Painful sprains and strains, as well as myofascial adhesions, can be addressed directly with massage techniques that improve circulation and stimulate healthy separation and realignment of injured fibers.
Reiki: Hands on universal energy for good health and balance of mind, body and emotions.
Detox: This technique involves dropping the essential oils directly onto the spine using light strokes with the fingers which stimulate energy impulses and dispurse the oils along the nervous system throughout the entire body. In this way, the body can be brought into balance and the energy centers can be cleared and re-aligned.
Thai Massage: This modality of massage incorporates compressions and assisted yoga poses, done over the recipients clothing. The compressions are done along sen (or energy lines), and can be adjusted to the recipients liking of deep tissue work. Thai massage is a type of massage in Thai style that involves stretching and deep massage. The client wears comfortable clothes that allow for movement. No oils or lotions are used in this modality.
Craniosacral Therapy: The craniosacral system (cranio means head and sacral refers to the area at the base of the spine) includes the brain and spinal cord. You will be asked to lie clothed on the treatment table. The therapist applies subtle pressure with the hands to the head and the base of the spine.
